I hear many ghost hunters claim to be professional parapsychologists.
So far I have 2 answers, but why do ghost hunters claim to be parapsycholigists when they only hunt ghosts? This has boggled my mind. As I understand it a parapsychologist works through grants and has access to universities, but ghost hunters appear to be average people.

I am doing some research and documentation on paranormal groups but I need a few EVP recordings that I can download to my computer. Is there a paranormal group that has a website that offers downloadable recordings?

Most of us that record EVP have recordings that say something we are about to say or answer a question before we ask it. Do you think that they are reading our thoughts or seeing a bit into the future? I have one example where just before someone mentions the group TAPS there is an EVP singing Taaap tap tap tap. What are your thoughts?

TR: I agree with you to a point. I use very strict protocols before classifying any of my recordings as EVP. I don’t always trust my own judgement when analyzing. Anything I find is isolated and sent to other members of my group. I do not give them any clues as to what I am hearing. If they hear the same thing I do I then analyze the hz level. I have EVP ranging as low as 20hz with clear voices. This would be nearly impossible for a human to attain as it would sound raspy at that level.
